Introduction:
The wrap top features long sleeves brought in at the hem with elastic. It can be wrapped in several different ways!
The skirt is a flowy a-line dream brought in at the back with elastic for an easy and comfortable fit, not to mention the skirt features roomy pockets.
These pieces can be worn together or mixed and matched with other Friday patterns. The Saturday Skirt set pieces are sure to be a versatile addition to your handmade wardrobe.
Fabric suggestions:
Make this set from a silk for a party-ready get up or linen for an everyday uniform. The Saturday Skirt Set is designed for light to mid-weigth woven fabrics. It looks great in rayon, silk, linen, and dress weight cotton. Fabric needs to be 54-60” [137-153cm] wide to be suitable in all sizes.

Sizing Notes:
The measurements below are the dimensions of the garment after it is sewn. A few things to note:
• A waist measurement isn’t provided for the top because it is a wrap top.
• The ‘Length CB’ is length of the top measured from center back.
• The Skirt Waist measurement provided is measured with the back elastic waistband stretched.
• The skirt length includes the waistband.
Yardage Requirements:
You may need to purchase extra yardage if your fabric has a heavy nap, is directional, striped, or has an obvious repeat.
Ready-to-wear inspiration:
Above are a few ready-to-wear examples of shirt style dresses and sets to get a vibe for some versions you could make. For party season a bright colour or print would work really well, or a color block version! For more of a day time look try a linen or cotton fabric, styled with sandals and a big hat for beach wear. That is the great thing about this pattern, depending on what fabric you choose can really alter the vibe of the finished outfit to suit your style story.
