Friday Spring Capsule Wardrobe - Paige

Friday Spring Capsule Wardrobe - Paige

You may recall seeing our previous capsule wardrobe posts, where we put together a combination of Friday patterns to curate a seasonal capsule wardrobe. As we head into another new season, we thought it would be fun to refresh our wardrobe again with some new seasonal makes and highlight how we plan to style them together. Paige is sharing her Spring Capsule wardrobe with less items than usual for a streamlined capsule with a more conscious understanding of spring wardrobe needs!

The patterns included in this capsule:

  1. Ilford Jacket
  2. Elysian Bodysuit
  3. Friday Bateau Top
  4. Saturday Skirt Set X2
  5. Bernadette Skirt
  6. Flaneur Pants
  7. Saltwater Slip

In recent months I have been leaning more towards my quirky personal style with an element of whimsy in the prints, layering, and colour palette. I like combining my more alternative styles with hints of feminine like check prints and then pink sequins! This capsule wardrobe is filling some needed gaps in my wardrobe with day to day essentials but also quirky basics that can be all worn together.

Outfit options:

This outfit would be perfect for casual days at home or running errands as the Elysian Bodysuit is a super soft later and when teamed with the looseness of the Saturday Skirt Set skirt it's a great combination for effortless comfort yet still looks put together and chic. When wearing out for meeting friends I'd layer over some jewellery and swap out my bag for a funky one with a bit more personality. Layer over the matching Saturday Skirt Set top (as seen below) for a nice spring layer, and swap out the sandals for knee high boots to stop feeling chilly!

The other outfits are similar examples of how easy layers, simple swap outs of accessories, or matching pairings can achieve the look needed for each day or purpose.

I hope these outfit combinations prove how effortless and wonderful it can be to create a cohesive capsule of garments that all work together seamlessly. I'm so excited to create them and hopefully I can get most of them made before summer!
