The Dew is designed to have an easy, comfortable fit. Both the dress and top views have an a line silhouette that moves the fabric away from your body around the middle. The dress has more ease through the waist and hips than the top. The top length hits around your belt line and the dress length falls a few inches above your ankle.
This pattern was drafted using sample measurements for a for a height of 5’6”[168cm]. We recommend choosing a size based on your full chest measurement.
The Dew Top/Dress is a simple cowl neck style with big impact! The pattern includes a dress view with a shaped hem, roomy pockets, and a comfortable fit. The top features a subtle high-low hem and a line silhouette. The pockets on the dress are sewn flat to the front for maximum carrying capacity without added bulk. The fit is loose without being baggy. This is a comfortable style that sews up quickly! You’ll want to make this fun pattern over and over again!

Fabric Recommendations
The Dew is designed for knit fabrics. You will need a fabric with at least 25% crosswise stretch. It looks great in jerseys, rib knits, ponte knits, scuba, andmore! If you are sewing the dress version, a fabric with a bit of body will hold the shape of the hem nicely.
