Other sewing hack suggestions:

- Rounding off the collar and adding gathered frills to the collar and pocket. Fabric is a hand block print from Blackbird Fabrics.

- Crop the waist hem to an empire line and add a peplum hem and gathered fabric to the cap sleeves. This fabric is a pretty floral linen viscose from Fabric Godmother.

- The long sleeve Donny Shirt add-on would look great with sleeve bows to create a cute puff effect, also lengthening the hem to make it a long-line style would be perfect for wearing with capris or leggings. 100% linen from Fabric Godmother.

- Create a button up back by slicing it in the middle and adding button plackets, and sew on some cute pearl buttons, this is for a cute detail rather than serving as a functional opening. The fabric is a cotton voile from Blackbird Fabrics.
