Fabric Recommendations

The Eddy is designed for woven fabrics. The easy silhouette makes it look great in a variety of fabrics. Fabrics that can take a press and hold a crease will be easier for this project.

• MAIN FABRIC: Any woven fabric with a bit of weight to it is great: Linen, suiting, twill, denim, canvas. It will make your blazer more challenging to sew if your fabric cannot take a press.

• LINING FABRIC: Typically you want to line your blazers with something that will easily slide on and off over other fabrics. Anything a little bit slippery would work. Rayon, silk, or a cotton with a tight weave.
