Have you ever stared at your fabric stash, or your closet, and felt like it's hard to put together an outfit, or things don't quite go together? Enter the Sudoku Packing Method, it's the ultimate puzzle-solver for your me made wardrobe to create pieces that effortlessly go together. This method is great for creating a capsule wardrobe and perfect for packing when going on vacation.
What is the Sudoku Method?
If you aren't familiar, the concept is simple: you pick 9 garment pieces (in this case 9 sewing patterns) and arrange them in a 3 by 3 grid (3 tops, 3 bottoms, and 3 layers). Just like the classic game, every row, column, and diagonal creates a perfectly coordinated outfit. It takes the guesswork out of styling and ensures every single piece you sew seamlessly well together.
The sewing patterns featured in this method:
Bottoms: Sport shorts, Bernadette, Flaneur
Layer: Pogonip, Ilford, Butano Button Up
Once you have created your pieces, here are several ways to style them together.
